Chinese Startup Builds a Robot That Helps Elderly People Use the Toilet

Yueban's Xiaoban robot uses sensors and AI to move around homes on its own, helping elderly residents with bathroom needs and cleaning itself afterward. Shown at a Shanghai care expo, it addresses a shortage of human caregivers in China. The technology adapts mapping skills from other robots to work with existing bathroom fixtures. It's unclear whether it can be sold legally outside China yet.
