Peter Max, Maker of Bright 1960s Art, Dies at 88

Peter Max died Monday at age 88. His son Adam Max shared the news in a written statement Wednesday. No cause of death was given. Max made bright, rainbow-like art with swirling colors, linked to the 1960s flower power time of peace and love.
