Canada and Britain talk about sharing defence costs

Canada and Britain are talking about pooling money to pay for defence. Canada’s plan, called the Defence, Security and Resilience Bank, was central to talks between Prime Minister Mark Carney and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham in Britain. Canadian officials say Britain’s plan, called the Multilateral Defence Mechanism, fits with it, The Globe and Mail reported, citing a senior official.
