Gaza apartment building falls down, killing 12 people seeking shelter

Twelve people who had taken shelter in a six-story apartment building damaged in the war in western Gaza City died Sept. 16, 2026, when it fell down, Reuters reported. Fourteen others were hurt. With so few safe homes left, people forced from their homes may face an impossible choice about where to sleep.
