Sanders Wants US and China to Pause Powerful AI

Independent Senator Bernie Sanders asked President Trump to negotiate a full agreement with Chinese President Xi Jinping at their upcoming Washington AI summit to pause work on very powerful artificial intelligence and ban extremely smart machines. Speaking at Washington's Pro-Human Assembly, Sanders compared it to the Reagan-Gorbachev agreement that removed all of one type of missile to avoid nuclear war.
