California Man Admits He Bombed a Courthouse

Nathaniel James McGuire, 22, admitted to U.S. national charges that he set off a homemade bomb, like a deadly firework, inside the Santa Maria courthouse on September 24, 2024. The blast hurt three people and caused $35,000 in damage. He could spend the rest of his life in prison. A judge will decide his punishment on March 1, 2027.
