New Walking Robot Made to Work Safely Beside People

Agility Robotics introduced Digit 5 on September 15, 2026, its first human-shaped walking robot made to work safely beside people in large numbers, the company said. The Oregon company says sensors work like eyes to spot people and slow down. The real test is mistaken stops and reliable working time in real warehouses, not lab tests.
