Pentagon Relied on AI to Draft Its Report to Congress About AI

The Defense Department disclosed it used artificial intelligence to write its required annual report to Congress about how the military uses AI systems. The problem: it's unclear what the AI actually wrote — whether it just organized information or also wrote the substance about weapons decisions and oversight — which defeats the purpose of Congressional review.
