Students Sue Columbia, Saying Palestinian Supporters Were Treated Unfairly

Mahmoud Khalil and members of Columbia’s SIPA Palestine Working Group sued Columbia University, its board and Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo in New York federal court Sept. 14, 2026. They say the school was unfair to Palestinian supporters, ignored bullying complaints and punished them for speaking out. Columbia declined comment on pending litigation. Case could clarify when schools are responsible for harassment.
