Sweden's Election: Left Side Just Ahead

Magdalena Andersson's Social Democrats-led left side leads Sweden's election for parliament, called the Riksdag, 176 spots to 173 over the centre-right side and Sweden Democrats, with 95% of votes counted overnight to 14 September 2026. The count is not final, so the tiny lead could still change.
