AI Company Says It Stopped Dangerous Misuse

Anthropic, which builds AI tools, says it stopped harmful users from using its tools for work that could have helped make biological weapons, or germ-based weapons. It shared this in its September 2026 safety report, looking at December 2025 to August 2026 across seven types of harm. Experts now want stricter limits on who can use AI.
