World oil prices rose September 14, 2026. Brent crude, the price much of the world follows, hit $108 a barrel, then eased to $107.7, up 3%. Drone attacks forced Saudi Arabia to close its east-west oil pipeline. With Hormuz already shut, like losing a backup road, supplies have little slack.
