Scottish Library Shows Rain Through Science and Hollywood

Scotland's National Library opened an exhibition pairing an 18th-century scientist's observations about rainfall with materials from the 1952 movie *Singin' in the Rain*. One shows rain as something to measure and study; the other shows it as entertainment. The display brings together poems, books, music, and film—materials usually kept in separate sections.
