Wisconsin Candidate for Governor Swims to Shore After Plane Lands in Lake

Rep. Tom Tiffany swam to safety after his small, one-engine private plane lost power and had to land on Lake Wausau late Saturday. Tiffany, a Wisconsin Republican running for governor, was returning from the La Crosse County Lincoln Day Dinner to the downtown airport in Wausau when the pilot brought the plane down in central Wisconsin.
