Ex-finance chief says UK should rejoin EU trade group

Former UK finance chief George Osborne said Britain should rejoin the EU customs union — a club where members follow the same rules on trading goods — calling it simple and the quickest way to help the economy recover. He told Geordie Greig of The Independent that leaving has badly hurt trade.
