Blizzard announces new StarCraft shooting game for 2030

Blizzard announced a new StarCraft video game at its BlizzCon 2026 fan event. It will be a shooting game set in a large world you can explore, built around a central story. Blizzard showed a movie-style preview and plans release for spring 2030, nearly 13 years after the 2017 updated re-release of the original.
