Australia's progressive campaign group GetUp and Victoria's union body say volunteers should not personally attack Pauline Hanson or call her racist before November's state election. Talk one-to-one about household costs instead, they say. They argue negative ads failed in Farrer and could actually push more voters to Hanson's One Nation party.
