Trump Says Ireland Should Be One

Trump said in Dublin on Sept. 12, 2026 it would be 'fantastic' if Ireland became one country — Northern Ireland, of the UK, joining the Republic. He would 'love to see' it and called it inevitable and 'a very cool thing' in talks with Irish President Catherine Connolly. It matters if Washington repeats it.
