Trump attacks Australia's social media rules

Trump has called Australia's planned social media laws "extortion" against American tech companies. The laws would let regulators control how platforms sort posts and remove harmful content. A White House spokesperson said Trump had warned trading partners against taxing or fining US tech firms. Communications minister Anika Wells replied: "We're a sovereign nation."
