Immigration boss says her team hid a failed computer project that cost $33 million

Immigration Minister Erica Stanford says her ministry deliberately kept secret the failure of an eight-year computer project that cost $33 million. Officials chose not to report the problem through normal channels. The minister publicly criticising her own team shows trust between them has broken down badly.
