UK homebuilder Crest Nicholson sees shares fall 10% after surprise loss warning

UK homebuilder Crest Nicholson now expects to lose about £10m this year, after earlier predicting a £5m–£10m profit. Its share price fell over 10% on 3 September. This is the third warning since April 2026. The company blamed slower sales, buyers struggling with costs, and rivals cutting prices.
