PM seeks advice on former MPs' travel costs

The Prime Minister has asked officials to advise on travel benefits for retired MPs after reports showed taxpayers have spent $6 million in a decade funding former politicians' travel. Luxon said he won't take back benefits already claimed, so any changes would only apply to future MPs.
