Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was hospitalized Sunday, June 14, 2026. His office did not say why. The 84-year-old has had health problems since 2023: a fall that hurt his ribs, and moments where he froze on camera. That raised concerns about whether he could do his job. He left his leadership role last year but is still a senator.
