Germany and Japan Plan to Share Military Bases

Germany's defense minister proposed letting German and Japanese troops train and station equipment on each other's soil without asking permission each time. Japan already does this with Australia and the UK. This deal would be the first direct link between Europe's strongest military power and Asia, combining two separate military buildups into one coordinated defense network.
