Court Stops Trump From Renaming Kennedy Center

A judge ruled that President Trump cannot add his name to the Kennedy Center. Congress created the building as a memorial to President John F. Kennedy in 1964, so only Congress can officially change its name. The Trump administration's lettering was removed from the building on June 12, 2026.
