GeoLibre 1.0, released June 2026, now saves map projects as readable text files instead of locked-down formats. This lets teams track changes over time, much like Google Docs history, and work together smoothly whether they're on a computer or browser. It removes a long-standing headache for groups doing collaborative spatial work.
