BYD Plans to Build 3,000 Charging Stations Across Europe
Chinese carmaker BYD announced plans in April 2026 to install 3,000 fast-charging stations across Europe within a year. The stations will support BYD's new electric vehicles, including the DENZA Z9GT. By building its own charging network, BYD follows a strategy Tesla pioneered: controlling both the car and the fuel pump to lock in customers and stay ahead of competitors.
