New GitHub Alternative Launches with an Easier On-Ramp

A new code-hosting platform announced in early June lets software teams copy their existing projects from GitHub to test the new service without fully switching over. The platform is built with Rust, a modern programming language, and deliberately holds off on adding collaborative features like code review—letting teams evaluate it safely first.
