Victoria puts work-from-home laws on hold past election

Victoria's premier, Ben Carroll, has delayed new laws giving workers the right to work from home. They were due 1 September; now it's July 2027 — past November's state election. Business groups warned of job losses. The opposition won't block the laws. So voters wait, and won't get to judge the policy at the polls.
