National Party MPs called to online meeting amid talk of a new leader

National Party MPs spent the day taking phone calls about possibly replacing their leader, the NZ Herald reported. The party's MPs were called to an online meeting on Tuesday night while Parliament was on a break. Leader Christopher Luxon told RNZ he was "very confident" in his leadership. He survived a vote on whether he should stay as leader in April.
