Alleged Kinahan Crime Boss Extradited from Dubai to Face Charges in Dublin

Daniel Kinahan, 49, alleged boss of the Kinahan organized crime group, was extradited from Dubai to Ireland on August 9, 2026, and charged in Dublin with directing criminal activity. Accused of running an international drug smuggling and money-laundering empire, Kinahan was arrested by Dubai police in April 2026. Ireland deployed a government jet for the transfer.
