Counter-terrorism police reopened the investigation into an April 2025 firebombing at Nigel Farage's home after the murder probe into Ann Widdecombe surfaced a line of inquiry CTP London admitted "was not identified and pursued" originally. The IOPC is now investigating a staff member's conduct. Widdecombe, 78, was found dead at her Dartmoor home on 9 July; Joshua Kerry, 28, is charged with her murder.
