Coalition majority down to a single seat in latest Curia poll

The National-led coalition would hold 61 of Parliament's 120 seats on the latest Taxpayers' Union Curia poll — the bare minimum needed to govern under MMP. The Opposition bloc would hold 59. The poll surveyed 1000 people and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent, enough to wipe out the two-seat gap.
