ICE Arrests Airport Travelers With Pending Visa, Asylum, and Green Card Applications

ICE is detaining travelers at US airports who have pending applications for visas, asylum, or green cards, including spouses of US citizens and an asylum seeker with sickle cell anemia who uses a wheelchair. The arrests, in public areas like ticket counters and gates, reverse DHS's prior policy of avoiding airport enforcement to prevent disrupting domestic travel.
