
HHS Hands Senate Panel Fauci's Phone Ahead of Contempt Vote
HHS under Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gave the Senate Homeland Security Committee a copy of Anthony Fauci's phone, per the Wall Street Journal. The handover came before the committee's August 6, 2026 contempt vote, after Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times. The device could yield communications Fauci did not voluntarily produce.
