Western Allies Cut Ukraine's Air-Defence Missile Deliveries to a Third of 2025 Levels

President Zelenskiy said on August 5, 2026 that Western allies delivered only a third as many air-defence interceptor missiles in 2026 as in 2025, weakening Ukrainian defences as Russian attacks intensify. Ukraine still intercepts 87–90% of incoming threats, but is burning through a shrinking inventory. New US Patriot missile talks could take a year or more to produce fresh interceptors.
