Six of eight startups selected for Startup Battlefield Australia on August 19 are AI-native — their products require generative or agentic model capabilities that emerged over the past three to four years. They span AI governance (Aigentsphere), conversational anti-fraud (Apate.ai), voice-automated security (Callease Ai), agentic workforce matching (Choosey App), creator orchestration (Doomers AI), and natural-language video search (LeadStory). The 2017 cohort operated within conventional software frameworks.
