Jetstar Ends Free Overhead Bin Access, Replacing 7kg Allowance with Underseat-Only Free Bag

From February 2027, Jetstar's Starter fares include only one free underseat bag (up to 40×30×20cm). Passengers wanting overhead bin space must buy 'Priority Carry-on' — $25 to $52 depending on route — which also grants early boarding. The 7kg gate-weighing limit is scrapped, though bags should stay under 10kg for safe lifting. Checked allowances are unchanged.
