President Trump phoned Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) on August 3 and told him his reelection campaign looked unpromising amid domestic and child abuse allegations from his ex-wife, Axios reported. Publicly, Trump called Miller "a very good person" and said he would "let the families figure it out." Six Republican senators have urged Miller to resign.
