Apple Building iPhone-to-Windows Copy-Paste for EU Under DMA Interoperability

Apple is developing a feature to let EU users copy content on an iPhone and paste it onto a Windows PC, or vice versa, responding to a March interoperability request Microsoft filed under the EU's Digital Markets Act. Apple targets fall 2027 completion, calling it a significant engineering effort requiring a new permission model and pairing protocol.
