The author of the DNC's 2024 election after-action report and the committee are publicly at odds over a missing chapter, the New York Times reported on August 3, 2026. NPR interviewed Times reporter Shane Goldmacher about the dispute the following morning. The DNC published its post-mortem on May 20, 2026, after scrapping an earlier version under Chair Ken Martin.
