Yung Filly Cleared of Sexual Assault and Strangulation, Convicted on Two Assault Counts in Australia

A Western Australian jury acquitted UK rapper Yung Filly (Andres Barrientos) on five charges including three counts of sexual penetration without consent and strangulation, but convicted him on two counts of assault. The alleged incident involved a 20-year-old complainant at his Perth hotel in 2024. Sentencing is set for 21 August. A hung jury on three further penetration charges leaves retrial undecided.
