Interlochen investigation documents 70 sexual misconduct accounts against 47 staff across six decades

A 97-page external investigation by the Sanghavi law firm, commissioned by Interlochen Center for the Arts and published in July 2026, collected 70 alumni accounts alleging sexual misconduct by 47 faculty and staff from the 1950s through the 2010s. None of the accused currently work there; over a third are deceased. Interlochen has shared all names with Grand Traverse County authorities for potential criminal review.
