Pokémon Pokopia's Dive move goes free August 5; underwater zone stays behind $35 pass

Pokémon Pokopia's first paid DLC, Bubbly Basin, launches August 5 on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside a free version 2.0.0 update. The update grants all players the Dive move, but the underwater exploration area it unlocks — resembling Cerulean City ruins — is accessible only through the $35 Expansion Pass, which cannot be purchased separately and covers all three planned DLC drops.
