DoorDash Launches In-House Drone Delivery With FAA Part 135 Certification

DoorDash unveiled DoorDash Air, an in-house drone delivery operation, on July 29, 2026. The FAA granted DoorDash a Part 135 air carrier certification, authorizing commercial drone delivery. Built within DoorDash Labs, the service will start with limited visual-line-of-sight pilot programs while existing partnerships with Wing and Flytrex continue.
