Nationwide Blackout Hits Ghana as Grid Fault Shuts Power Plants Nationwide

A major grid fault forced several power plants across Ghana to shut down on July 29, 2026, causing a nationwide blackout that left Accra, Kumasi, and much of the north without electricity.
