Tesla FSD manager processed robotaxi crash while asleep, lawsuit alleges

A retaliation lawsuit filed by former Tesla Houston FSD testing manager Javier Medrano alleges the team's 38 operators under one manager — more than double Tesla's internal 1-to-15 ratio set by Autopilot Director Pete Scheutzow — led to Medrano processing a robotaxi crash while physically asleep and giving the operator unsafe guidance. Medrano was fired after escalating safety concerns internally.
