Secret Service Agent Arrested in Fraternity Hazing That Nearly Killed Two

Marquez Christopher Pinder, 29, a U.S. Secret Service agent in Miami, was arrested July 26 on felony charges including attempted manslaughter. Prosecutors say he helped orchestrate a Kappa Alpha Psi hazing in April that beat two men with canes and paddles over four days. One suffered kidney damage; the other was intubated. Two co-defendants face identical charges.
