Granola launches Apple Watch app for wrist-based meeting transcription

AI note-taking startup Granola launched an Apple Watch app on July 28, 2026. Users can set Granola as a watch face complication to start transcribing meetings with a tap — no phone required. Audio is captured locally on the Watch hardware. The app targets in-person scenarios like walking one-on-ones where pulling out a phone is impractical.
