NSW ICAC's Operation Rosny heard on 28 July 2026 that federal opposition leader Angus Taylor was discussed as a potential financial backer of the 'Reformers' faction. A March 2021 message from ally Dallas McInerney referenced 'shaking down Angus for 10k'; another alleged a '$15k injection plus a $3k monthly donation' from Taylor. Witness Dylan Whitelaw said he didn't recall sending the messages. Taylor's spokesperson said he was 'not a party to the matters before the commission.'
